Instead of quadripeds..

Sealife, and fowl, wouldn't it be interesting if we hunted and ate each other?  Outside of indigenous tribes, i mean.  On a worldwide scale.

So you're Tom in marketing, and you're about to go on your lunch break...hmm.  Richard from accounting looks decent enough.  Substantial amount of meat on the bones, plus he had Sara, a member of the board of staff, earlier this morning.  Damn, wasted 15 minutes into your break, you gotta think fast, and move faster.  Bon Appetit..

Heh, that'd sharpen the senses and hone the performance edge for all involved, i tellya whut...

If you had to lose your vision, what would you look at today?

Posted on Nov 3rd, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 02, 2007:

If i had the means, i'd go to a curandero and drink the most potent peyote/ shroom mix and, "..exercise the demons.." so that my house may be clear, so to speak.

I wonder what i'd see?  Never yet had the opportunity to make that a reality.

But in reality, most likely the sky.  If she were here, into my wind's eyes.  I'd be fine after that.  Rather go mute though, i'm tired of talking...

Peace.

What does the word 'natural' mean to you?

Posted on Nov 7th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 07, 2007:

To state it plain, i'll quote a child from an old breyers ice cream commercial:

"Breyers is all nature-ul (is how he pronounced it)..and nature-ul means, it's from nature..."

What is true leadership?

Posted on Nov 8th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 08, 2007:

It's hard to say, i know what it isn't, and the current commander-in-briefs is exemplary of all that it's not.  Sad to say, he's misusing few of the attributes that make leadership a quality to aspire to, like he's in Bizzarro's World.

Wow, it really is hard to define with someone like that man and the rest of his crone-bags in charge of things.

But to separate true leadership from what these guys are passing it off as, to me, it's talking like you walk, going in the trenches, carrying the load along with those who choose to follow you.  It's being a confidant, someone whom you can trust.  It's knowing when to balance the role, as there'll be times when a leader doesn't have all the answers.

It may also mean being unpopular at times, going against the grain when it may not always be the popular opinion.  It's steadfastness, compassion, and ferocity.

More than anything, it involves a layer of inner

What was your favorite childhood story?

Posted on Nov 9th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 09, 2007:

Wow, there was a few..

1st one would have to be '10 apples up on top' by Seuss.  3 animals, mad apples, calamity ensues.  Nuff said. ;p

But one other stands out.  The jack tales; about a kid named jack (of course) and his two older brothers and the magical adventures they'd get into.  This was back in 5th grade, so i don't remember too much, only that there was always a moral to each tale, and that no matter the odds, jack usually got the better end of the deal in each story.

"Tie, strops, tie..beat, horns, beat..."  A line from one of the tales i could never forget..hmm.

Peace.

3 B's

Was a nice day today...how was yours?

Kickass i hope..mine got off to an interesting start when i met a monarch on my way to the mall.  It was standing in the middle of the sidewalk directly in my path, so i crouched down to greet it, and it didn't fly away; i then reached out to it with my left index just touching one of its legs, and it crawled up and perched itself on the tip of my finger and stayed there from our initial meeting, up until i walked to the entrance to the mall, where i said my goodbyes and left on on a nearby tree branch.

From there, i went to B&N to see if i could get some further info for my martial arts research, and found a pretty comprehensive book on muay thai and before i went to checkout, i had to answer the call of nature, so i asked this woman, whose back was turned to me at the time, where the lavatory was.  When she turned to face me, i knew i recognized her.  She was a fellow buddhist that my sister and i had met in the pancake house one morning while my sister spent part of her summer with me in august.  We immediately bowed to each other and spoke for a short time because it looked as though she was busy.  But that was a pleasant surprise indeed.  Small world.

On my way home riding the bus, there was a young woman with her little girl, who looked no older than 3, laying on her mother's lap, sucking her thumb.  Sometime through the course of the ride, i noticed the little girl from the corner of my eye, and turned to her, where she was already looking at me, and with her remaining fingers visible from her thumb sucking hand, she gave me a calm wave hello, and i returned the greeting with a calm wave of my own.  At was as is we were two ninja greeting each other in passing, knowingly from the same clan. ;p  After the brief greeting, we went about our of business of silence.  And i went home, to share this with you tonight.

A butterfly, a buddhist, and a baby...life is interesting when you let it be...

Peace.

Are you a risk-taker?

Posted on Nov 10th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 10, 2007:

Those that know me would say that i am.  Behind the wheel, jumping out of a plane (which i plan on doing some more), and once i get my hands on a Kaw 650r, all bets are off...somewhat.  Cuz drivers are crazy these days, no? ;p

I'd like to say that i try to be cautious in various aspects of my life, but it seems more times than not, i'm throwing said caution to the wind.  Oh, well...

Peace.

What gets in the way of peace?

Posted on Nov 11th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 11, 2007:

Ego, ignorance, small mind, lack of self confidence, lack of trust in oneself and others, superiority/ inferiority complexes, the incessant need for control in all facets, weapons (because we can't hug our kids with nuclear arms :p)

That's what i've come up with so far, anyone have anything else to add?

Placing Energy Amongst Conscious Entities, is our spiritual right as beings of matter (that matter) in this world, and nothing should get in the way of that...

What would you print on our currency?

Posted on Nov 12th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 12, 2007:

Nothing, cause there'd be no currency..in the way of paper, that is.

I'd go back to caori shells and slivers of silver, gold, and copper as currency.  Barter, true fair trade, food and friendship as a means of payment :9

Yeah, dreams rock.

Peace.

Sculpture of all kinds, and have 6 foot walls built strategically in spots where graff writers and crews can put up murals every week.

What is the role of media?

Posted on Nov 14th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 14, 2007:

So far as i see it, to deliver fear to the masses, distract us from the truth of matters in our everyday world, and to push biased agendas from the political, legislative, and corporate elite.

But i'm sure almost everyone here in the zaangha has said that. ;p

To that end, i'd wish there was a way there could be a news station that reported on real news, unbiased newspapers, where anchors and reporters can actually give their own input (and some try) into the topics they're speaking on.

You can see it in their faces sometimes..i'd prolly get fired within the 1st week of my employment for spilling gallons of hot WHAT THE FUCK green tea in the laps of the masses.

But that's just me. ;p

Peace.

Who, on the whole, do you find happier: children or adults?

Posted on Nov 16th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 16, 2007:

Kids, hands down...not much in their lives to worry about, considering maslow's hierchy of needs are met.

Adults, don't neglect your inner 7 year old!  It needs love more than you need to pay a mortgage, or drive your SUV's or whatever the devil it is you adults do these days.  Kilotons more.

Peace.

What is your relationship to your life story?

Posted on Nov 17th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 17, 2007:

What?  Huh?

What kind of question is this?  Ok, question askers, normally i just don't answer the one's that i don't feel need answers to...but besides a most common sense answer.."very personal"..."quite detached".."painful"..."filled with love"....

C'mon, give me something that i REALLY have to think about...my life story is just that..a story of some past that no longer exists...albiet in fragments of memory, that while some where pleasant, others weren't.  That's LIFE.  Just a story to tell my kids and grands who'd have no concept of what daddy and grampop may have looked like as a kid, much less even realized that he was a kid.

My life story doesn't exist...all i have is now; is all that matters.  Now ask some better questions, question askers! :p

Peace.

What's the easiest way to become happy?

Posted on Nov 18th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 18, 2007:

Try not too hard to hold fast to that which you think will make one "happy".  It's all within.  We just have to find it.  For some, a long journey, others..a simple step.

But happines is a fleeting thing in my life.  Not said in a bad way, when it comes, it's nice; it's just that contentment works for me so much better.

Peace.

What was the last thing you made from scratch?

Posted on Nov 19th, 2007 by Ichimaru : Healer~Scholar~Warrior~Human-ish Ichimaru
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 19, 2007:

Can't remember, but i do know what i'd like to make.

I'm not architect or drafter or anything, but i'd like to design my own home from the ground up.  It's something that's been in the planning stages for some time now, so it's something that i'd like to make a reality.  No dependence on oil, no water wasted, and if possible, placing it between nature and civilization.   A fine balance, to be sure, but it'd be worth it.

Peace.
