This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 14, 2007:
So far as i see it, to deliver fear to the masses, distract us from the truth of matters in our everyday world, and to push biased agendas from the political, legislative, and corporate elite.
But i'm sure almost everyone here in the zaangha has said that. ;p
To that end, i'd wish there was a way there could be a news station that reported on real news, unbiased newspapers, where anchors and reporters can actually give their own input (and some try) into the topics they're speaking on.
You can see it in their faces sometimes..i'd prolly get fired within the 1st week of my employment for spilling gallons of hot WHAT THE FUCK green tea in the laps of the masses.
But that's just me. ;p

I wonder if there is such a thing as “real” news or “unbiased” anything? I rather people and media just be honest about the fact that there is always subjectivity. I don't think that objectivity even exists. However, we can learn to be mindful and responsible for how we use our subjectivity rather than manipulative of the masses.
I concur, wabi-sama..for this reason (and some others) i've stopped watching tv altogether. Of course there will be sides any any side of an issue, and the vast net, i believe, is a way of being able to see both, and cutting through to the source of the issue. There are layers, and it seems to me that people just want the surface. This is why i recommend Ichimaru Brand WTF green tea..”It'll shinobi-smack you into coherence!” ;p
I've got to keep some semblance of levity when it comes to issues like this…
