This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 12, 2007:
When I was young, i would watch my father on his birthday, and he had his own ritual where he'd smoke a cigar (classy), tend to his ivy patch, and reflect on his life. I've adopted the same ritual; the extent to which i close off all lines of communication for the day, find a park, forest or woodsy area take in the nature around me. I'll also meditate on my life thus far, and about where i want to go in it.
