What does summer mean to you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 01, 2007:
It means coco helado, the tinny sound of of the one and only Mr. Softee ice cream truck, kickball and baseball in the streets. But that was over 10 years ago. Being an adult kinda sux in that respect. Most of what summer meant to me can be recollected in flasbacks of my youth. These days, my life brings to mind the cheesy song, "Everybody's workin' for the weekend..", though in place of that, i'm working for the summer vacation; just a vacation, period, ya know?
